I didn't even realize that this little plaque was there until i was walking my dog and was looking for a new angle to shoot this bench... when I saw this. I though, "Oh my god!! This is perfect!!"

I'm a ski racer... I strip to nothing more than a spandex GS suit and some long johns at -20˚F. And you thought football and hockey were rough.

This is fantastic. Not only it is an interesting angle and perspective, but the color (or lack of) is wonderful. The plaque looks so small and inadequate, and a little rusted which helps with the overall mood I'm getting from this pic.

Thanks!

This was more of the mood I was trying to get from the first one... all alone. They would make a good compliation, but I don't want to ruin the moods of each piece (+ i'm lazy... and I know it wouldn't look good)

The angle was chosen so I could get the rest of the bench in there (so it was recongizable, otherwise the point would have been moot)

Then the colors mostly came from Lightroom (the awesome texture of the bench and the ';pop' of the plaque), but that's only because the sensors in my camera aren't good enough (too small, I think)

I really like the subtle "pop" of color in it :)

probably. I don't live in a very populated area, and the plaque is on the side of the bench... very odd place.
